Why We Exist
The average American household produces over 1,700 pounds of waste per year, and much of it comes from everyday home products: plastic wrap, synthetic sponges, chemical air fresheners, disposable packaging. Sunfolk Co. exists to make it easy to replace these products with natural, sustainable alternatives that work just as well, or better.
How We Choose Products
Every product in our store passes a simple test. First, does it replace something wasteful? We only carry products that directly eliminate or reduce waste compared to their conventional alternative. Second, is it made from natural or sustainable materials? We prioritize bamboo, organic cotton, soy, beeswax, linen, and other renewable materials. Third, what happens at end of life? We favor products that are compostable, recyclable, or biodegradable over those that end up in a landfill.
Our Suppliers
We work with vetted suppliers in the United States and Europe who share our commitment to sustainable sourcing and ethical production. We prioritize domestic fulfillment to reduce shipping distances and carbon emissions, and we choose suppliers who use minimal, recyclable packaging.
